Energy Independence Event III - Radio Interview
AJC Westchester Energy Committee Co-Chairs Mark Reisman and Dan Singer were interviewed on WVOX on Monday, October 17th about this year's third anual Energy Independence Event. Below are the details of the event.
On Monday, October 24th, AJC Westchester will present Israel/American entrepreneur Yossie Hollander who will lay out a plan for the Westchester community that he is developing through his Fuel Freedom Project for how America can end its oil addiction. Given his Israeli background, Hollander will weave in details of the innovative Israeli technology that will help the world get there. AJC Westchester will also be honoring the Town of Bedford for its commitment to the ideals of energy independence and for its founding role in the Northern Westchester Energy Action Consortium. Congreagtion Sons of Israel was chosen as this year’s venue in recognition of the new solar panels that they installed this year on their roof. These panels will be officially dedicated that night at 7:00 p.m.
Sponsored by American Jewish Committee’s Westchester Regional Office, this Third Annual Energy Independence Town Hall Event brings together various constituents in the community who view energy usage as an economic and political issue. This free event is being held at the Congregation Sons of Israel, 1666 Pleasantville Road in Briarcliff Manor, New York from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. It is open to the general public.
